Through the BPW/Maine Futurama Foundation, working with the Maine Community Foundation, the following scholarships are awarded annually to Maine women with financial need. Each application includes a detailed description of the eligibility criteria and requirements.
The Scholarship Period opens January 1st of each year.
Deadline to appy is April 15, 2027.
The Lemieux-Lovejoy Youth Scholarship
For a female high school senior or GED recipient who will enroll this fall in an accredited college or training program lasting more than one year.
The Jeanne L. Hammond Memorial Scholarship
For a woman in her second year of post-secondary study, or to support a student who has completed at least one year of college and will need to attend for at least one additional year. Primary consideration will be given to women with strong school and/or community involvement.
The Continuing Education Scholarship
For a woman enrolled in, or returning to, an accredited college or training program lasting more than one year. Special consideration will be given to applicants pursuing a graduate degree.
The Career Advancement Scholarship
For a woman at least 30 years old who continuing in, or returning to, a program of higher education or training, either full-time or part-time.
